The Red Lion has a warm country atmosphere, original features, woodburners, cosy bar area, well spaced out dining areas, pool room, snug, a super beer garden, eight en-suite bedrooms & a friendly greeting for all. Dogs and children are very welcome. The Red Lion is the perfect location for meeting friends and family, a game of pool or darts, a special occasion in our private dining room “The Lion’s Den” or just a quiet drink after work.

Our kitchen brigade will prepare delicious, seasonal and fresh food for you to enjoy with lots of local produce and a great set of daily specials to entice you. Manager Ralph and our front of house team look forward to making you feel at home offering a good range of wines, lagers and real ales including Wye Valley’s Butty Bach and HPA. We have a sunny patio and garden overlooking fields – perfect for a sunny day plus a covered outdoor seating area in the Stables.
