At our pub, we love bringing people together. From lively annual celebrations like LionFest and VE Day, to our much-loved monthly charity quiz nights and seasonal foodie events including Pie n’ Pud, Steak Nights, Fondue Nights and much more, there’s always something happening here.
But we’re not just about public events – we also offer private hire, tailored to your needs. Whether you’d like to book the entire venue for a big occasion, or a more intimate space such as The Den, The Lounge, The Stables or even our rustic Barn, we can provide the perfect setting.

We regularly host a wide variety of functions, including:
• Birthday parties & anniversaries
• Shoot dinners
• Corporate dinners & business meetings
• Small weddings & receptions
• Funeral teas & celebrations of life
• Christmas parties
• And much more

Our team also creates bespoke menus to suit your event. For example, an afternoon tea with yummy sandwiches and sweet treats, while a corporate dinner could feature a set three-course meal. We pride ourselves on being flexible and working with you to design the right experience, tailoring to your numbers, budget and the theme of your occasion.
During the weekday for lunches and afternoons we don’t always need to make a room hire charge. For private hire on busier weekends there may be a room hire charge of up to £600, but please do get in touch with us, and we’ll be happy to provide a tailored quote based on the event you’re planning.
